Winter’s tears are cried
spring trees bud green and blossom
transition’s bouquet

earth’s dormancy shakes
antlers rattle as bucks rut
Doe in her season

impulsive winds blow
havoc, devastating rakes
freeze-frame lightning flash

Rain and mountain snow melt race
swiftly through the arroyo

* This concludes the series. I just wanted to show the repetition of the cycle and wrote each poem a bit different as each season is unique unto itself.
