Remembering has become ritualistic for me, the self-flagellation of my penance. No fewer than five times a day, like the Liturgy of the Hours from Catholicism, or Islam’s Salats.
Unlike these lovely traditions, remembering necessitates ablutions afterward, as remembering has become more a communion with my inner devils.
