I felt so tiny,
lost in the
forest of Doubt.
Skeletal branches
reaching out.
Roots of fear
sunken deep.
I often stumbled
layed there to weep.
Then came a desert
known as Need
where it was barren
and I was alone.
Wandering blindly
I found the lake
called Compassion.
Its healing waters
now carry me home.
