I have become
detached
no longer cling
to the limbs
that once
held me up
in the sky, clouds,
and warm sunlight
blue and white
I have drifted
on the breath of
night
floating down
to feed deep roots
settling into
fundamental essences
blending with
scattered seeds
from futile pursuits
yielding bitter fruits
once unsustained
yet nourishing the whole
the existential trifecta
mind, body, and soul
relinquishing control
yielding to the moment
life’s natural rhythm
the ebb and flow
although
I seldom know
where it may take me
or if I’ll go
