I’m stretching my wings a bit with some venues where I can share photographs I have taken of various nature subjects. The images always inspire me to write poetry.
This post was inspired by Lori Bravo from the wonderful blog, Let There Be Peace On Earth
For more details, see .blogger Jennifer Nichole Wells’s blog here.
I watched the charcoal sky for rain,
though threatening, I had seen none yet.
With upturned face espied the sky,
and saw myself in cloud vignette.
Peering through the vaporous veil,
looking up on those inclement days.
I genuflect to mysteries,
beyond my ken, beyond the grays.
